I saw God today! No,don't call the men with white coats and straight jackets, He didn't "appear" to me in a vision or anything. Though, how cool would that be? Or scary, depending on your behavior of late.
Anyway, I got the wonderful opportunity to spend the morning with my hubby at the beach. For all my northern family & friends, I'm sorry your weather is so terrible, but it was an absolutely lovely day here in Sunny South Florida. Temperature in the 80's, cool tropical breezes and very little humidity. Okay, I'll stop now. Don't hate.
Anyhow, as I was gazing out into the mighty ocean with the sun glistening off the waves breaking on shore, I got this overwhelming feeling that God was all over that. For a moment there it felt like the rest of the world just faded away and it was just me there with my toes in the sand staring out at God's incredible power and might. It was at that moment that I realized that this is what people mean when they say take the time to slow down and listen for God's voice. I felt a tranquility I had not felt in a while, it was as if the Lord was telling me things will be alright, just spend some time with me and you'll see I am with you always. The breeze felt like His caress against my cheek. It was a beautiful moment. (despite the french canadians talking loudly!) LOL!
